Achari Daal Masala Salad by Chef Tahir Chaudhry

Ingredients:

  • Cooked chickpeas 1 cup
  • Large onion 1
  • Large tomato 1
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • Tara chaat masala 1 tsp
  • Minced garlic 1 tsp
  • Minced ginger 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves 1 small bunch
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pan, put onion and saute until golden brown.
  2. Now add ginger and garlic.
  3. Then put tomato and cook until tender and soft.
  4. Now cool it, blend it and make paste.
  5. Then add chickpeas, red chili powder, salt and little water in this pan, boil and simmer it for few minutes.
  6. Now put garam masala, tara masala, coriander leaves, tomato, onion, cucumber and lemon juice.
