Chicken Mince Kabab Biryani

Ingredients:

For Chicken Mince Kabab:

  • Chicken mince 1/2 kg
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander or Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1/2 tsp
  • Sambar powder 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • Finely chopped ginger chilies 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves few
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep fry
  • Eggs 2

For Biryani:

  • Rice 2 cups
  • Finely chopped onion 3
  • Boiled potato diced 2
  • Hung curd 100 gm
  • Biryani masala 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Red chilies paste 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Coriander or Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Egg 1
  • Coriander or Mint leaves as required
  • Saffron dissolved in milk as required
  • Ghee or Oil 2 tbsp
  • Milk 1/4 cup
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. For chicken mince kabab: Put all ingredients in food processor and make smooth paste.
  2. Then roll in small balls, deep fry until golden brown and take it out.
  3. Now boil rice until 3/4 done, drain it and keep it aside.
  4. Then whip yogurt, marinate mince kabab with dry ingredients, salt, ginger garlic paste and red chilies paste for 30 minutes and keep it aside.
  5. Then heat ghee or oil and saute onion until golden brown.
  6. Then take out half onion and set it aside.
  7. Then add remaining onion with chicken mince kabab and potatoes and cook until done and leaves pan edges.
  8. When ready, take out kabab and potato gravy and keep it aside.
  9. Then put remaining gravy in pan.
  10. Then put half rice.
  11. Garnish with half onion and half coriander or mint leaves.
  12. Then put remaining rice, onion and coriander or mint leaves.
  13. Put boiled eggs and low flame.
  14. Now put soaked saffron, simmer it and cook until fully done and serve with raita.

Chicken Mince Kabab Biryani is tasty dish. Make it at home for some change. It is little bit long recipe.
