Egg Free Quiche Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Short crush pastry 1
  • Butter 40 gm
  • Mushroom slice 250 gm
  • Green onion 2
  • Maida 1/4 cup
  • Milk 1-1/2 cup
  • Finely chopped parmesan cheese 1/4 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Method:

  1. Keep pastry in loose base quiche tin, take out extra pastry and keep in fridge for 30 minutes.
  2. Now heat butter in pan, put onion and mushrooms , cook for 2 minutes until mushrooms are soft.
  3. Then strain it with strainer.
  4. Now put remaining butter and maida in other pan and cook until bubbles form in mixture and close stove.
  5. Then put milk, stir it slowly and soft mixture.
  6. Then cook for 5 minutes until bubbles form in mixture and thick.
  7. Close stove, put salt, black pepper, half green onion and cheese, mix it and keep it aside.
  8. Then keep quiche tin on oven tray.
  9. Now cover pastry with baking paper and put batter.
  10. Then bake on 180 degrees C for 10 minutes.
  11. Then remove batter and paper, cook for 5-10 minutes and take out from oven.
  12. Now change temperature to 200 degrees C.
  13. Then put mushrooms mixture in pastry cups with spoon.
  14. Then put white sauce and sprinkle remaining cheese.
  15. Now bake it for 10-15 minutes, sprinkle remaining green onion and serve.

Egg Free Quiche is savory open crust pastry. It is French dish. It is filled with cheese and mushrooms. Then baked and served hot.
