Green Velvet Jewel Cake

Ingredients:

  • Big eggs 6
  • Icing sugar 1 cup
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Milk 2 tbsp
  • Melted butter 1 tbsp
  • Green food color 1 tbsp
  • Maida 1 cup
  • Baking powder 3/4 tsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Caster sugar for dusting

For Filling:

  • Jello instant vanilla pudding 1 packet
  • Cream cheese 1 tub
  • Caster sugar 1/4 cup
  • Whipped cream 250 gm
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Gelatin 1 tbsp
  • 3 colors instant jelly as required

Direction:

  1. Preheat oven on 180 degrees C.
  2. Now beat eggs, vanilla essence and icing sugar.
  3. Then mix green color and beaten eggs in milk.
  4. Then fold in maida and baking powder.
  5. Now grease jelly roll pan, put this mixture and bake for 15 minutes.
  6. Then dust sugar and cut into slices.
  7. For filling: Put pudding in cold milk.
  8. Now beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla essence and gelatin.
  9. Then fold in pudding, cream and jelly.
  10. Now put filling on cake.
  11. Then refrigerate for few hours.

Green Velvet Jewel Cake is delightful dessert. Cake is prepared with maida, eggs and icing sugar. Then baked, topped with vanilla pudding, cream and jelly mixture. Cut into slices and serve chill.
