Balsamic Strawberries

  • 2 Pints Strawberries
  • 4 To 6 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Balsamic vinegar


  1. Cut the strawberries into pieces, (halve or slice them).
  2. Place the berries on a shallow pan (10-inch pie pan) and sprinkle with sugar.
  3. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerated for 4 hours, shaking the pan every so often.
  4. Sprinkle with vinegar within a half hour of serving at room temperature.
