Country Peach Tart

Ingredients:

  • Pastry for single-crust pie (9 inches)
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 2-1/2 teaspoons Sugar
  • 4 cups sliced peeled peaches or frozen peaches
  • Ground nutmeg

Method:

  1. On floured surface, roll pastry into a 12-in. circle; transfer to and ungreased baking sheet.
  2. Combine flour and sugar; sprinkle over peaches and toss.
  3. Arrange peaches on pastry, leaving a 2-in. border around edge of pastry.
  4. Sprinkle peaches lightly with nutmeg.
  5. Fold edge of pastry in.
  6. Bake at 425° for 30 minutes or until crust is browned and fruit is tender.
