Ridge Gourd with meat (turai gosht)

Ingredients

  • ½ kg ridge rourd
  • ½ kg boiled, boneless meat
  • 250 grams tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 6 green chillies
  • 1 bunch mint
  • 1 cup yougurt
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 tsp magi enhancer
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp red chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp chaat masala
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 2 tsp cimin seeds
  • 4 tbsp lemon juice

Method

In a pan heat ½ cup oil and sauté 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste. Then add ½ kg boiled boneless meat 250 gram tomatoes, 2 onions, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp salt, 2 tsp red chili powder and 2 tsp cumin seeds. Cover the pan with its lid and allow cooking on low flame untiln forma as separate layer. Nowmake slits in ½ kg ridge gourd and fill 4 tbsp lemon juice. 1 tbsp chaat masala and 1 tbsp red chili flakes in them. Fry ridge gourd in the remaining ½ cup oil until they turn turn golden brown. Then add fried ridge gourd to meat. Also add 6 green chillies, 1 bunch mint, 1 tsp magi enhancer and 1 cup yogurt and allow simmering for 15 minutes. Delicious ridge gourd with meat is ready to serve.
