Ingredients for Gulatti:

  • Boiled rice 1/2 kg
  • Ghee 250 grams
  • Sugar 2 cups
  • Cardamoms 4
  • Almonds 50 grams
  • Cashew nuts 50 grams
  • Raisins 50 grams
  • Khoya 375 grams
  • Rose water 1 tbsp
  • Gulab jaman As required

Method:

  1. In one pan, heat 2 tbsp ghee, do khoya golden brown. Now in other pan, heat remaining ghee and fry cardamoms. When fragrance comes, add sugar & 1 cup water and make syrup.
  2. Now add boiled rice and simmer it on low flame for 30 minutes. Then close the stove, put gulab jaman, khoya, rose water, almonds, cashew nuts and raisins. Gulatti is ready.

Ingredients for Orange & Pineapple:

  • Orange juice 1 glass
  • Pineapple juice 1 glass
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Brown sugar 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Mint leaves As required

Method:

  1. Freeze orange juice and pineapple juice.
  2. When freezed, put in blender with lemon juice, brown sugar, salt & mint leaves and blend it.
  3. In end, garnish with mint leaves and serve cold.

Ingredients for Hyderabadi Biryani:

  • Rice 1/2 kg
  • Boiled meat 1/2 kg
  • Tomatoes 1/2 kg
  • Yogurt 250 grams
  • Onions 2
  • Bay leaves 2
  • Cardamoms 2
  • Cloves 2
  • Green chillies 10
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Whole black pepper 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Salt 2 tsp
