Achras, Kachi Keri Ki Til Wali Chatni And Nuktiyun Wali Khatti Chatni by Sara Riaz

Ingredients for Achras:

  • Chopped mutton mince 1/2 kg
  • Keri 1
  • Onion 2
  • Ginger 1 tsp
  • Garlic 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilli 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander 1 tsp
  • Mint 1 cup
  • Green chilli 4
  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil and fry onion slices.
  2. Now add ginger, garlic, salt, red chilli, turmeric, coriander and mutton mince, cover it and cook it.
  3. When mince cooked well, roast it.
  4. Now add mint leaves, keri pieces and chopped onion, mix it and simmer it.
  5. Add garam masala and green chillies and remove from stove.
  6. Serve hot.

Ingredients for Kachi Keri Ki Til Wali Chatni:

  • Sesame 2 tbsp
  • Cumin 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Small green chilli 8
  • Keri 1
  • Onion 1

Method:

  1. Grind cumin, sesame, salt, green chilli and keri.
  2. When chatni is grinded, add onion slice, fold it and serve it.

Ingredients for Nuktiyun Wali Khatti Chatni:

  • Keri 2
  • Sesame 2 tbsp
  • Garlic 4 cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilli 1 tsp
  • Nigella seed 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Peel keri and cut into shape of nuktiyan.
  2. Heat oil and fry garlic clove.
  3. Now add keri, salt, red chilli and nigella seed and fry light.
  4. Now simmer it for 5 minutes.
  5. Serve with dal kachori.
