Ingredients for Coconut Cake:

  • Butter 6 ounces
  • Caster sugar 8 ounces
  • Coconut 3 ounces
  • Eggs 3
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Coconut essence 1 tsp
  • Self rising flour 6 ounces
  • Corn flour 1-1/4 ounce
  • Blended sugar 1 tsp
  • Coconut 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Beat butter, sugar, coconut, yogurt and coconut essence.
  2. Now put egg, filtered self rising flour and mixture of corn flour.
  3. Add all the eggs and self rising flour like this.
  4. Heat oven up to the gas mark 4 .
  5. Put the mixture in loaf tin. Sprinkle remaining sugar and coconut on top.
  6. Bake for 50 minutes and serve it.

Ingredients for Chanay Ki Daal Gosht:

  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Chanay ki daal 250 gm
  • Fried onion 1/2 cup
  • Ginger 1 tsp
  • Garlic 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander seeds 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Spice powder 1 tsp
  • Tomatoes 3
  • Mint 1/2 cup
  • Green chilies  4-6
  • Rice 250 gm

Method:

  1. Heat the oil and fry onion till brown.
  2. Now add ginger, garlic, salt, red chili, turmeric, coriander seeds, cumin powder, mutton, and soaked chana ki daal, chopped tomato and cook them.
  3. When daal and mutton is tendered, mix it.
  4. Lastly add chopped mint, green chilies, all spice powder, and give bhagaar.
  5. Serve it with boiled rice and naan.
