Butter Chicken And Chocolate Kulfi by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients For Butter Chicken:

  • Chicken 1 kg
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Red color a pinch
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Butter 3 tbsp
  • Green chilies 4-6
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Tomato puree 1/4 cup
  • Butter 2 tbsp
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Almonds 5
  • Cashews  5
  • Cream  1 cup
  • Chopped coriander  to garnish

Method:

  1. Marinate chicken with curd, pinch of red color and 1 tsp red chili powder.
  2. Heat oil, add the marinated chicken.
  3. Let cook. Heat oil in another pan add green chilies and red chili powder, butter, tomato puree, curd, salt, saute, add the ground almonds and cashews, cream and stir in the chicken, mix well and garnish with chopped coriander.

Ingredients For Chocolate Kulfi:

  • Dark chocolate 1/2 cup
  • Chocolate chips 1/4 cup
  • Milk 1 liter
  • Corn flour 1 tbsp
  • Khoya 1/2 cup
  • Sugar  5 tbsp

Method:

  1. Boil milk in a pan and simmer till it is reduced to half its volume.
  2. Mix corn flour in1/4 cup water chocolate to the milk and mix.
  3. Add corn flour mixture and continue to cook, stirring continuously.
  4. Add grated khoya and sugar and mix well.
  5. Set aside to cool down to room temperature.
  6. Put some chocolate chips in Each kulfi mould and fill them up with chocolate milk screw the lids on the moulds and keep them in a freezer to set.
  7. When completely set, take them out, demould them and serve immediately.
