Ingredients For Tomato Shorba:

  • Boiled tomato 1/2 kg
  • Chicken  1/2 kg
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric  1 tsp
  • Salt  1/2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic 2 tsp
  • Brown sugar 1 tsp
  • Green chili  4
  • Green coriander  as required
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Tamarind juice 4 tbsp

Method:

  1. First boil the tomatoes.
  2. Now pour oil add chopped ginger garlic.
  3. Then add chicken roast it well.
  4. Then add tomatoes, turmeric, salt and brown sugar cover it for 20 minutes.
  5. When it becomes dry then add tamarind juice, water, green chilies, green coriander and chopped garam masala, then turn off the stove.
  6. Pour oil add curry leaves, cumin and round chilies give it baghar.

Ingredients For Coconut Squares:

  • Chopped coconut  200 gm
  • Condensed milk  1 tin
  • Chopped cardamom  1/4 tsp
  • Ghee  4 tbsp
  • Water  1/2 cup
  • Coconut pieces  1 cup
  • Yellow color  1 pinch
  • Kewra essence  few drops
  • Silver leaf  for garnishing
  • Pistachio  for garnishing

Method:

  1. First pour water in a pan add chopped cardamom, few drops of kewra essence, ghee and pinch of yellow color.
  2. When it is boiled for 1 to 2 times then add chopped coconut mix it and turn off the stove.
  3. Now add condensed milk, stir it well.
  4. Then grease the tray, spread the mixture. Make it cool add pistachio and silver paper and cut it into squares then serve.
