Spicy Roast Potatoes by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes peeled 750 gm
  • Tomato chopped 2
  • Onion diced 1/2
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin ground 1 tsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Butter cubed 50 gm
  • Coriander chopped to garnish
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in frying pan, put diced onion and cook it until it becomes soft.
  2. Then put garlic paste, turmeric, chili powder, cumin ground and salt and cook until fragrance comes.
  3. Now add tomato chopped in pan and cook until soft and completely mix.
  4. Then put salt. Boil potato in salt water until tender in this time.
  5. Then take out potato, put in baking tray and mash it with fork.
  6. The more is spread, the more it becomes crisp.
  7. Now put sauce on top of potato, mix it nicely, then spread butter cubed and bake in oven on 200 degrees c for 15 minutes until it becomes golden and crisp.
