Prawn & Soya Ginger Sauce by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Prawns 1/2 kg
  • Corn flour 1/2 cup
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Egg whites 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic powder 2 tsp
  • Oil as required

For Soya Ginger Sauce:

  • Tomato ketchup 1/2 cup
  • Crushed red chilies 1 tsp
  • Brown sugar 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Green onion 2 tbsp
  • Finely chopped ginger 2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 4 tbsp

Method:

  1. Marinate prawns with corn flour, ginger garlic powder, black pepper, salt and egg whites, mix it nicely and fry in hot oil.
  2. For soya ginger sauce: Heat oil and fry chopped ginger.
  3. When fragrance comes, put soya sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, tomato ketchup and crushed red chilies and mix it.
  4. Then add fried prawns in sauce and mix it.
  5. Then sprinkle green onion and serve.
