Veal Croquettes by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • Beef 1 kg
  • Butter 2 tbsp
  • Flour 4 tbsp
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • Chicken Stock 1/2 cup
  • Paprika 1/2 tsp
  • Chili Powder 1 tsp
  • Curry Powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Black Pepper 1/4 tsp
  • Worcestershire Sauce 1 tsp
  • Chopped Parsley 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Put beef in pan and roast on medium flame until brown.
  2. Now take it out in bowl.
  3. Then melt butter on low flame in second pan.
  4. Now put flour and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Then put milk and stock slowly slowly and make thick sauce.
  6. Now put beef, paprika, chili powder, curry powder, salt, black pepper, worcestershire sauce and parsley and stir it nicely.
  7. Then close stove and take it out.
  8. When mixture cools, give shape of croquettes.
  9. Mix water and egg in bowl.
  10. Coat croquettes in flour.
  11. Then coat in eggs and roll in bread crumbs.
  12. Repeat this step many times.
  13. Then fry in oil.
