Butterscotch Pudding by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • Packed dark brown sugar 1/2 cup
  • Corn flour 3 tbsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Milk 1-1/2 cups
  • Cream 1/2 cup
  • Unsalted butter 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence 1-1/2 tsp
  • Cream & Cocoa powder 1-1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Put brown sugar, cornflour and salt in saucepan.
  2. Whisk to combine.
  3. Add 1/2 cup milk and whisk until combined.
  4. Add remaining milk and cream, whisking to combine.
  5. Bring to boil, whisking frequently.
  6. Boil, whisking constantly for 1 minute.
  7. Remove pan from heat.
  8. Add butter and vanilla and whisk to combine.
  9. Pour pudding into bowl.
  10. Cover with plastic wrap, pressing plastic wrap directly onto surface of pudding.
  11. Chill 2 hours before serving.
  12. Garnish with sweetened whipped cream and cocoa powder.

Butterscotch Pudding is a Sweet Dessert. It is prepared with few ingredients. It is very easy recipe to make at home and it is served Chilled.
