Ingredients:

  • Mutton 750 gm
  • Oil 3/4 cup
  • Chili powder 3 tsp
  • Coriander powder 3 tsp
  • Salt 2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic 2 tbsp
  • Fried onion 1 cup
  • Yogurt 1-1/2 cup
  • Cinnamon 3
  • Clove 6
  • Black pepper 10
  • Black cardamom 2
  • Mace ground 1/4 tsp
  • Nutmeg ground 1/4 tsp
  • Green cardamom 1/2 tsp
  • Potatoes 3
  • Yellow color 1 pinch
  • Kewra 1 tbsp
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • Saffron 1/2 tsp
  • Rice 750 gm

Method:

  1. Heat oil, put cinnamon, cloves, black pepper, black cardamom, ginger garlic paste and mutton and fry for 5 minutes.
  2. Now add onion with chili powder, coriander powder and salt, put some water and fry it nicely.
  3. Then add 1 cup water, cover it and cook until meat in nearly done.
  4. Now add tomatoes and yogurt and simmer it on low flame until potatoes tender.
  5. Then put nutmeg, mace and green cardamom.
  6. For assemble: Make layer of 375 gm of rice in pan and make layer of meat and potatoes.
  7. Now make layer of second rice, put fried onion, milk & saffron mixture and 1/4 cup ghee and simmer it for 15 minutes.

Memoni Masalaydar Biryani is Memoni Dish. It is new variety of biryani.
