Fish Kofta Curry, Foley Fish And Prawn Jalfrezi by Sara Riaz

Ingredients for Fish Kofta Curry:

  • Fish 1/2 kg
  • Potato 1/2 kg
  • Coriander 2 tbsp
  • Bread slices 2
  • Onion 1
  • Ginger 1/2 tsp
  • Garlic 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Green chili powder 1 tsp
  • Egg to taste
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Butter 1 tbsp

For Curry:

  • Onion 1
  • Garlic 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Whole mix spices 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander 1 tbsp
  • Red chili 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 4 tbsp
  • Curry leaf 10-12
  • Whole red chili 5
  • Coconut powder 2 tbsp
  • Naan 4

Method:

  1. Steam fish, separate its skin and fork and mash it.
  2. Boil potatoes and mash it.
  3. Chop bread slices in chopper.
  4. Put all ingredients in bowl and mix nicely.
  5. Now make kofta and fry in hot oil.
  6. For Curry: Heat oil and put garam masala, curry leaves, red chili powder, raw onion, garlic, salt, red chili, turmeric, coriander and lemon juice.
  7. Now add coconut milk. When curry is ready, put fry koftay and simmer it.
  8. Garnish with green coriander and serve.

Ingredients for Foley Fish:

  • Fish fillet 1/2 kg
  • Lemon 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp

For Chutney:

  • Coriander 1 bunch
  • Mint 20
  • Green chili 6
  • Garlic 4 clove
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Coconut powder 6 tbsp

Method:

  1. Put green coriander, mint, green chilies, garlic, salt, sugar and coconut and make chutney.
  2. Pour lemon juice and salt on fish pieces.
  3. Now cut aluminum foil into 6x6. Put chutney on top and keep fish.
  4. After that, put chutney and oil. Then fold it and make envelope, bake on 180 degrees C for 15 minutes and serve.

Ingredients for Prawn Jalfrezi:

  • Prawn 250 gm
  • Onion 1
  • Tomato 1
  • Oyster sauce 1 tbsp
  • Red chili 1 tsp
  • Green chili 04
  • Mix spices 1/2 tsp
  • Soya sauce 1 tbsp
  • Ketchup 1/4 cup
  • HP sauce 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1 pinch
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard powder 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger 1 inch

Method:

  1. Heat oil, put  onions, ginger strips and prawns and fry it.
  2. Put all masala in one bowl and mix with prawns.
  3. Now put tomato pieces, green chilies and ginger after 4 to 5 minutes and mix it
  4. When ready, serve hot.
