Ribbon Sandwich, Chicken Noodles Kabab And Fish Pie by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients For Ribbon Sandwich:

  • White sandwich  2 slices
  • Brown sandwich  2 slices
  • Egg Filling  2 slices
  • Chutney filling  as required
  • Ketchup  as required
  • Butter  4 ounce

For Green Chutney:

  • Coriander leaves 1 bunch
  • Mint leaves  15
  • Green chilies 6
  • Salt  1/2 tsp
  • Coconut  1/2 cup
  • Garlic  4 cloves
  • Lemon juice  4 tbsp

For Egg Filling:

  • Boiled egg 2
  • Salt  1/4 tsp
  • Black pepper  1/4 tsp
  • Butter  1 tbsp
  • Mayonnaise  1 tbsp
  • Yellow color  few drops

Method:

  1. Cut the sandwich into long slices and brown sandwich loaf.
  2. Then paste butter or mayonnaise and paste the green chutney.
  3. Then put the white bread slice.
  4. Now put the butter, mayonnaise for filling. Now put the brown slice and place again the butter and green chutney.
  5. Then freeze it by placing wet cloth on it.
  6. Now cut it into slices.
  7. For making chutney: Take a blender add green coriander, mint leaves, green chilies, salt, coconut, garlic cloves, lemon juice blend it well, until it becomes smooth.
  8. For egg filling: Take a boiled egg, salt, black pepper, butter, mayonnaise and few drops mash it well.

Ingredients For Chicken Noodles Kabab:

  • Chicken 1/2 kg boneless
  • Ginger garlic  2 tsp
  • Onion  1 chopped
  • Crushed red pepper 2 tsp
  • Allspice  1 tsp
  • Salt  1 tsp
  • Water  1 cup
  • Boil and mashed potatoes  1/2 kg
  • Boiled noodles  2 packets
  • Coriander leaves chopped  2 tbsp
  • Mint leaves chopped  1 tbsp
  • Green chilies chopped 2
  • Egg 1 to 2

Method:

  1. First boil the chicken along ginger, onion, chopped red chilies, garam masala and salt, until it becomes dry.
  2. Now chop the chicken add boiled and chopped potato, boiled noodles, chopped green coriander, mint, green chilies and egg mix it well.
  3. Then give it shape of kabab and serve it with chutney.

Ingredients For Fish Pie:

  • Fish boiled 1/2 kg
  • Eggs  2
  • Milk  1-1/2 cup
  • Cheese  1-1/2 ounce
  • Flour  2 tbsp
  • Bread crumb  2 ounce
  • Salt, pepper and mustard  to taste

Method:

  1. First boil the fish, now remove its skin and keep it on a side.
  2. Now for making white sauce, add boiled fish and mix it well.
  3. Then place it in oven proof dish, bread crumb, cheese and beaten egg spread it well.
  4. Bake it on 180 degree C For 20 minutes then serve.
