Keema Masoor Pulao


  • Rice 1 kg
  • Brown lentils(boil) 250 grams
  • Onion (slices) 2
  • Minced meat 500 grams
  • Ginger and garlic(pulverable) 2 spoons
  • Cloves 6
  • Albanian 1 spoon
  • Salt (depend on taste)
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Cinnamon 2 pieces
  • Black paper 10
  • Ghee(oil) 200 grams
  • Curry leaves 2


  1. Mix onion in ghee(oil) and fry it until onion become brown color,mix ginger and garlic and all the spices.
  2. Now mix yogurt and knead the mixture
  3. Mix  minced meat and knead it and add 1/2 liter water and boil it then add brown lentils.
  4. Add water again for rice and leave for few minutes.

Sem ka Achar


  • 20 thin broad beans
  • Lemon 1/2
  • Half table spoon mustard oil (you can use olive oil as well)
  • Salt (depend on taste)
  • Turmeric


  1. Cook the beans and cook them until become soft,when beans become soft,remove fiber from the beans
  2. put the beans into the bowl and add grind mustard  with turmeric , add salt and  juice of lemon for citric taste
  3. now add mustard oil or olive oil.

Mooli ka Achar


  • Radish 500 gms
  • Vinegar 1/4 cup
  • Salt (depend on taste)
  • Red Chilli powder 1/2 table spoon
  • Powder of tumeric 1/2 table spoon
  • Rie 2 table spoon
  • Powder of asafoetida 2
  • Carom seeds 1/2 table spoon
  • Fenugreek seeds 1 table spoon


  1. Before making Radish pickle wash radish then cut radish into long thin slices.
  2. Now fry fenugreek and carom in the pan util they becomes brown then take out these spices into the bowl and cool them off.
  3. Mix rie with the spices and fry radish in hot oil and fry for two minutes.
  4. Add asafoetida,turmeric powder,red chilly and salt mix it with radish.
  5. Now add fried mixture in radish mixture and mix them properly then add vinegar for citric taste

Christmas Sugar Cookies


  • Margarine 1 cup
  • Egg 2
  • White sugar 1/2 cups
  • Vanilla extract 2 teasp
  • Baking powder 1 teasp
  • Flour 3 3/4 cups
  • Salt 1/2 teasp


  1. Mix flour,baking powder and salt in a bowl
  2. Mix cream,margarine and sugar and mix them until the mixture become fluffy then add eggs and mix properly
  3. Add vanilla Extract
  4. Mix both mixture and blend the mixture properly and cool for two hours
  5. Make different styles of cookies with cookie cutter and put all the cookies into the cookie sheet (Aluminium foil)
  6. Heat oven at 200 C and bake for 6 to 8 minutes or bake cookies until the edge of the cookies become brown
