  • Thank you Seemva, I have tried this recipe and ruined it too. The rice was mushy and I couldn't understand why.I think the stove could be a problem (I have a ceramic top stove). Another thing could be the amount of yogurt. I had to throw it out as nobody was eating it. I will try it again keeping your suggestions in mind.I like to read feed back from other ppl. as I learn so many useful things.

  • amnah i have tried something similar to this biryani. I keep my biryani rice fully cooked and alwyas drain them and put in s sieve. I dont do 1 kani rice or 2 rice since i cook on electric stove and if i keep 1 kani rice, my biryani rice dont cook on dam. For 1 kg chicken, 1 kg rice, I will use only 1/2 cup or 3/4 cup yopgurt instead of 1/2 kg yogurt.Try this recipe with 1/2 kg chicken first, try in small amounts. I did hear few callers tell tahira matin taht they r making this biryani every friday now. good luck
