Ingredients For Chocolate Cake:

  • Flour  1 cup
  • Caster sugar  1 cup
  • Cocoa powder  1/2 cup
  • Baking powder  1 tsp
  • Baking soda  1 tsp
  • Salt  1/2 tsp
  • Coffee powder  1 tsp
  • Oil  1/2 cup
  • Hot water  1/2 cup
  • Cold milk  1/2 cup
  • Vanilla essence 1 tbsp
  • Egg  1

To Serve:

  • Chocolate sauce  to serve
  • Chocolate ganache  to serve

Method:

  1. In a bowl sift together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt and coffee powder.
  2. Keep aside. in another bowl whisk together oil and hot water till well blender.
  3. Let it cool down a bit. Once cool add the milk and vanilla essence.
  4. Mix well. Add the whisked egg.
  5. Now gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk them together.
  6. Pour it in a greased and lined tin.
  7. Bake it for 35-40 minutes at 180 degree C or till the toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Smoother some chocolate ganache/ sauce if you want to or you can eat like this.

Ingredients For Sundae With Home Made Hot Fudge Sauce:

  • Vanilla ice cream  4 scoops
  • Strawberry ice cream  4 scoops
  • Chocolate ice cream  4 scoops
  • Butter  1 tbsp
  • Dark chocolate  1 cup
  • Condensed milk  1/2 cup
  • Coffee powder  2 tsp
  • Almonds  4 tbsp
  • Cashew nuts 4 tbsp
  • Walnuts  4 tbsp
  • Brownies  4

Method:

  1. Heat butter in a non stick pan, add dark chocolate and stir till it melts completely.
  2. Take the pan off the heat, add condensed milk and mix well.
  3. Add instant coffee powder and mix.
  4. Mix coffee powder in water and heat.
  5. Add this to the chocolate and mix well.
  6. Heat the sauce slightly.
  7. To assemble the sundae, place 1 scoop each of vanilla, strawberry and chocolate ice cream in individual serving bowls.
  8. Sprinkle some of the chopped almonds, cashew nuts and walnuts over them.
  9. Crumble some chocolate brownies over the nuts, drizzle hot fudge over, sprinkle remaining nuts and serve immediately.

Ingredients For Mocha Frappuccino:

  • Milk  1/2 cup
  • Chocolate syrup  2 tbsp
  • Caster sugar  1 1/2 tbsp
  • Strong coffee  1/3 cup
  • Ice  1 cup

Method:

  1. In a blender, combine everything but the ice, and blend until sugar has dissolved.
  2. Add ice and blend until smooth.
  3. Serve immediately.
