Bell pepper also known as capsicum, are been produced in different colors..They are mostly of average size, bell shapes and broad with three to four lobes,and are found in colors like red, orange, yellow and green. They are  different from the usual black pepper in this sense that it has a sweet taste and not as "HOT" as other peppers. China is the world's largest bell pepper producer. Although you will find peppers throughout the year on shops and in markets, but they in their best condition during the summer and early fall months.
