Chicken Malai Handi Recipe
Chicken Malai Handi is tasty dish. It is very common dish in Pakistan. You must try this recipe at home and surprise your family.
- Chicken breast cubes 1-1/2 kg
- Yogurt 1-1/2 cup
- Butter 75 gm
- Ginger paste 1 tbsp
- Garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Green chilies 15
- Cream 3/4 cup
- Poppy seeds 1-1/2 tbsp
- Black pepper powder 3/4 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Sesame seeds 2 tbsp
- White pepper powder 3/4 tsp
- Coriander leaves 3/4 cup
- Cashew nuts 15
- Oil 3/4 cup
- Put cashew nuts, poppy seeds, sesame seeds and green chilies in grinder and grind until paste.
- Now mix grinded paste, yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, cream, black pepper powder, salt and white pepper powder in bowl nicely.
- Now marinate chicken with this mixture and keep in fridge for 60 minutes.
- Now heat oil and butter in pot.
- Then add marinated chicken with marination in pot, cover it and cook on medium flame until chicken is cooked and oil comes on surface.
- Now add coriander leaves and mix it.
- Now take out in serving bowl and serve hot with naan and raita.
Chicken Malai Handi is mouth-watering dish. Chicken is marinated with green chilies & cashew nut paste, yogurt, cream and spices. Then cooked in butter & oil and mixed with coriander leaves. Then served hot with naan and raita.
