Ingredients:

  • Mutton 750 gm
  • Brown onion 1/2 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1-1/2 tbsp
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Yellow color 1/4 tsp
  • Kewra 1 tbsp
  • Rice 750 gm boiled
  • Salt 3 tbsp
  • Prepared biryani masala 3-4 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil, put ginger garlic paste, brown onion and mutton and leave for 10 minutes.
  2. Now add yogurt with biryani masala, cover it and leave for 10 minutes.
  3. Then add 3 tbsp salt, chili powder with 1-1/2 cup water, cover it and cook for 20 minutes until meat tender and gravy remains.
  4. For assemble: Put 1/4 cup oil and water in pan.
  5. Now put half 375 gm rice on meat mixture.
  6. Then mix remaining rice, brown onion and yellow color in kewra, add it, cover it and cook on high flame for 5 minutes.
  7. Now low flame and simmer it for 15 minutes.
