Mango crisp

Ingredients:

  • 5 cups mangoes (sliced)
  • 1.5 tbsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tbsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar

Method:

  1. Mix sliced mangoes with 1 tbsp of the cinnamon, the nutmeg, and lemon juice.
  2. Place in a buttered glass baking dish.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Combine butter and brown sugar until well blended.
  5. Cut in flour and the remaining half teaspoon of cinnamon.
  6. Mix until crumbly.
  7. Sprinkle the topping evenly over mango slices.
  8. Cook in a microwave oven for 10 minutes.
  9. Serve warm or cold.
