Cheddar Oregano Scones Recipe
- Flour 225 g
- Baking powder 3 teaspoon
- Salt a pinch
- Black pepper 1/2 teaspoon
- Oregano 1 tablespoon
- Butter 100 g
- Cheddar cheese 100 g
- Mustard powder 1 teaspoon
- Curd 100 ml
- Water 50 ml
- Egg as required
- Herbed butter for serving
In a bowl mix flour and backing powder.
Put black pepper, mustard and oregano after mix them all
Cut butter in cubes and chill
Pit grated cheddar and mix
In another bowl mix curds and water and blend them well.
Make a well in dry ingredients and add this liquid mix and fold till all comes together.
Roll this dough in circle, cut wedges and transfer to baking tray.
Brush with egg, top with some grated cheddar and sprinkle oregano.
Chill them in freezer for 15 min.
Bake at 200°C for 15-20 min.
