Mooli ka zarda


  • 3 radish
  • 250 grams dried milk
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ ckup clarified butter
  • 50 grams almonds and pistachio
  • 50 grams raisins
  • ½ tsp yellow food color
  • 2 tbsp kewra
  • 2 tbsp grated coconut


  1. Firstly grate radish after peeling them. In a pan heat 1 ½ glass of water add ½ tsp yellow food clor and grated radish and allow boiling. 
  2. When radish has softened rinse it in a different pan. 
  3. Cook ¼ cup clarified butter, ½ cup sugar 50 grams raisins in small quantity of water. 
  4. When sugar has completely dissolve add boiled radish in it. 
  5. Increase the flame and mix it well. When it is properly mixed, add 50 grams almonds and pistachio 250 grams dried milk and 2 tbsp kewra in it and allow simmering for 3 to 4 minutes. 
  6. Delicious Moli ka Zarda is ready.
