Sooji Ka Halwa Recipes

Soji ka Halwa is made of semolina. Semolina is small white grains with immense nutritional value. Suji ka halwa is an orange colored, savory dessert which is widely eaten across the south of Asia. Following is the easiest and the best recipe for sooji ka halwa

Ingredients:

  • Semolina 1/2 kg.
  • Almonds, Pistachios as required.
  • Sugar 1/2 kg.
  • Ghee 1 cup.
  • Cardamom 4-5.
  • Kewra essence few drops.
  • Yellow food color 1/3 tsp.

Method:

  1. Take a pan and put semolina in it.
  2. Keep the flame low and roast semolina
  3. Take a pan and pour ghee in it
  4. In ghee add cardamom and saute.
  5. Then add sugar in it and mix them.
  6. When it starts to bubble add semolina.
  7. Add almonds and pistachios in it and mix together and stir it.
  8. When the sooji ka halwa is roasted add kewra
  9. Now remove it.
  10. Garnish with coarsely chopped almonds and pistachios.
