Healthy But Heavenly Fruit Dip

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups applesauce
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp orange juice
  • 1 1/2 cups pomegranate seeds
  • 3/4 cups raisins
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped pears
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts

Method:

  1. In a bowl, put applesauce, sour cream, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and orange juice.
  2. Mix thoroughly by hand or with a mixer.
  3. Gently stir pomegranate seeds, raisins, pears, and walnuts into sauce, and then mix well.
  4. Cover and chill creamy dip in fridge.
  5. Serve chilled with apple slices. Celery and carrot sticks can also be used.
