Green Onion Rice by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1/2 kg
  • Rice 1/2 kg
  • Spring onion 200 gm
  • Ketchup 5 tbsp
  • Vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • All spice 1/2 tsp
  • Surri sauce 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Heat oil. fry spring onion for 2 minutes and take out.
  2. Fry chicken cubes in this oil.
  3. When tender, add ketchup, vinegar, chili powder, soya sauce, all spice, surri sauce and salt, cook for 10 minutes and keep it aside.
  4. For serving: Heat 2 tbsp oil and boiled rice.
  5. Put chicken gravy and fried green onion on top and keep on simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Then mix it and serve.
