Ananas Kheer by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Milk 1-1/2 liter
  • Pineapple 1 tin
  • Sugar 1-1/2 cup
  • Boiled rice 1 cup
  • Pineapple custard 2 tbsp
  • Pineapple essence 1/2 tsp
  • Khoya 250 gm
  • Almonds and pistachio 100 gm

Method:

  1. Cook milk.
  2. When it boils, put grinded boiled rice.
  3. Now put 1 cup water and 1/2 cup sugar in pineapple, cook it, cool it and grind it.
  4. Now add pineapple and sugar in milk and cook,
  5. When it becomes thick, dissolve pineapple custard in 1/2 cup water and put in it.
  6. When it boils 1 to 2, close stove and add pineapple essence.
  7. Now take out in dish, sprinkle almonds and pistachio and serve.
