Gujrati Murgh Roast by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Chicken whole 1 kg
  • Raw papaya 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Chili powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Brown onion grinded 2 tbsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Yellow color pinch
  • Peanuts 1 tbsp
  • Poppy seeds 1 tsp
  • Sesame seeds 1 tsp
  • Desiccated coconut 1 tsp
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Roasted gram 1 tbsp

For Bhagar:

  • Whole red pepper 6
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves 12

Method:

  1. Roast peanuts, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, desiccated coconut and white cumin and grind it.
  2. Now add roasted gram and grind together.
  3. Now marinate whole chicken with raw papaya, ginger garlic, salt, chili powder, brown onion and yellow color for 2 hours.
  4. Hot heat oil, put whole red pepper and curry leaves.
  5. Also put marinated chicken, cover it and cook for 30 minutes until chicken is ready.
  6. Serve with boiled eggs and french fries.
