Ingredients:

  • Pistachios (shelled) 350 gm
  • Khoya 350 gm
  • Sugar 350 gm
  • Rosewater 1/2 cup
  • Butter 4 oz
  • Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Nutmeg powder 1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Boil pistachios, dry them and then grind.
  2. Mix with khoya. In pan boil 1 cup water and add sugar till sugar is melted.
  3. train through a muslin cloth, again put syrup on fire.
  4. When it boils, add rosewater.
  5. When sugar syrup thickens and gets sticky, add khoya and pistachio mixture.
  6. Keep stirring and add butter, stir till it thickens, lastly add cardamom powder and nutmeg powder.
  7. Cool and cut in squares and serve.
