Ingredients:

  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Arvi 1/2 kg
  • Chopped onions 2
  • Lemons 2
  • Green chilies 2
  • Chopped green chilies 2
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Chopped coriander 1/2 bunch
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Red chili 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Wash arvi, peel it, grease hands with oil and spread turmeric on it.
  2. Now put mutton, onion, turmeric, red chili, ginger garlic paste, oil and 2 cup warm water in pot and cook on low flame.
  3. When water of meat dries and tendered, put arvi and green chilies and roast it lightly.
  4. Then put 2 to 2-1/2 cups warm water.
  5. When arvi tender, put lemon juice, all spice, chopped green chilies and chopped coriander and simmer it for 10 minutes.
  6. In end, serve arvi gosht with hot hot naan.
