Kulfa Saag by Zubaida Tariq

Ingredients:

  • Kulfa saag 1 kg
  • Chopped onions 2
  • Lemons 2
  • Chopped green chilies 4
  • Mustard oil 1 cup
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Crushed red chili 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Cut saag finely, wash it and soak it.
  2. Put oil in wok and heat it.
  3. When hot, put onion and fry it until light pink.
  4. Then take out water from saag and put in wok.
  5. Also put red chili, turmeric and salt, roast it nicely and put lemon juice.
  6. Then put green chilies and simmer it for 5 minutes.
  7. Serve saag with daal chawal or hot chapati.
