Peshawari Murgh by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Chicken - 1 kg (16 pieces)
  • Chopped Ginger - 1 tbsp
  • Chopped Garlic - 1 tbsp
  • Chopped Onions - 2
  • Crushed Red Pepper - 3 tsp
  • Salt - 1 1/2 tsp
  • All Spice Powder - 1 tsp
  • Crushed Coriander - 1 tbsp
  • Crushed Cumin - 1 tbsp
  • Sliced Tomatoes - 4
  • Yogurt - 1/2 cup
  • Coriander Leaves - 4 tbsp
  • Chopped Green Chilies - 4
  • Grounded Pomegranate Seeds - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Heat oil, add chopped onions and fry till they are soft.
  2. Add chicken.chopped ginger, chopped garlic, crushed red pepper, salt, all spice powder, crushed coriander, crushed cumin, sliced tomatoes, grounded pomegranate seeds and cook well till ready.
  3. Now add yogurt and fry till the oil comes over.
  4. Garnish with chopped green chilies and coriander leaves.
