Roasted Beef With Pepper Sauce by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Undercut 1 kg (1piece)
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper crushed 1-1/2 tsp
  • Mustard powder 1 tsp
  • Vinegar 3 tbsp
  • Hoi son sauce 2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Water 2 cups
  • Pepper sauce 1/2 cup
  • Flour 1 tbsp
  • Burnt sugar syrup 1 tbsp
  • Vegetable boiled 1 cup
  • Mashed potatoes 1 cup

Method:

  1. Prick undercut with fork.
  2. Now marinate with salt, black pepper, mustard powder, vinegar, soya sauce and hoi son sauce for 4 hours.
  3. Now heat oil and fry undercut from both side for 10 minutes.
  4. Now add water, cover it and cook until it is ready.
  5. Now add pepper sauce and 1/2 cup water.
  6. Then mix flour and burnt sugar syrup and cook until it is saucy.
  7. Now take out undercut in platter, cut into thinly slices and put pepper sauce.
  8. Serve with boiled potatoes and mashed potatoes.
