Beef Korma by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Beef 1 kg
  • Yogurt 375 gm
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Fried onion 1 cup
  • Finely chopped ginger & green chilies as required
  • Bay leaf 1
  • Cardamom 6
  • Kewra essence few drops
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Whole black pepper 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Nutmeg 1/2 tsp
  • Tatri 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Coconut powder 2 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1-1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Grind cumin, black pepper, coconut powder and nutmeg in grinder.
  2. Now take out in bowl, put turmeric, salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, cardamom, bay leaf, tatri and kewra essence and mix it nicely.
  3. Then mix in mutton, yogurt and onion and leave for 30 minutes.
  4. Then heat oil, put meat, cover it and leave for 30 minutes.
  5. When meat tender, add water as required.
  6. When 2-3 boils comes, put green chilies and ginger.

Beef Korma is Main Course Dish Originating in Central Asia, mainly India & Pakistan. It is Simple, Easy & Delicious Dish. It is served with Raita & Naan.
