Ingredients:

  • Beef livers 1 kg
  • Yogurt 1/2 kg
  • Onion 1
  • Big green chilies 8-10
  • Crushed red chilies 2 tbsp
  • Finely chopped ginger 1 tbsp
  • Finely chopped garlic 1 tbsp
  • Fennel seeds 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Onion seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds 1/4 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Raw mango powder 1 tbsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 4 tbsp

Method:

  1. Mix red chili powder, raw mango powder, cumin and salt in little yogurt, mark cut on green chilies, fill mixture in it and keep it aside.
  2. Now add ginger, garlic and onion and fry for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Then add liver, roast it nicely, put water and leave it for tender.
  4. Now add yogurt, red chilies, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, onion seeds, mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds and salt in bowl, mix it, add in livers and roast it nicely.
  5. Then add water as required and green chilies, cover it, simmer it, take out in dish and serve.

Achari Kaleji is Spicy Dish. It has flavors of green chilies. You can try this dish on Eid-ul-Adha with your guests.
