Bihari Biryani Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Boiled rice 1/2 kg
  • Chicken boneless 1 kg
  • Yogurt 375 gm
  • Onions 2
  • Papaya 2 tsp
  • Red chili 2 tsp
  • Green cardamom 4
  • Star anise 4
  • Plums 50 gm
  • Black cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Black peppercorns 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Nutmeg, mace 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Kewra essence 1 tsp
  • Yellow food color 1 pinch
  • Mint leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Green chilies 4
  • Coal 1

Direction:

  1. Put yogurt, papaya, red chili, salt, plum, cardamom, star anise, black cumin, turmeric, nutmeg, mace, ginger garlic paste, black pepper and kewra in chicken and leave for 20 minutes.
  2. Now fry onion until brown, put chicken, cover it and cook on medium flame.
  3. When water dries, add mint leaves and green chilies.
  4. Then put rice and yellow color and simmer it on low flame for 20 minutes.
  5. Then give smoke of coal and serve hot.

Bihari Biryani is delicious biryani. Chicken is mixed with yogurt, papaya and spices. Then mixed with green chilies, mint leaves and rice. Then given smoke of coal and serve with raita.
