Oatmeal Bacon Pancakes

  • 4  oz    Flour   
  • 1  oz  Fine oatmeal  
  • 1  cup  Buttermilk or milk  
  • Egg (beaten)  
  • 8  Strips bacon


  1. Sift the dry ingredients, and then add the egg and enough milk to make a batter like thick cream.
  2. Fry the bacon and then pour the batter over the entire bottom of the pan.
  3. Cook on one side, toss over, and spread with a little mustard if liked.
  4. Then add the bacon and fold over.
