Beef Roll, Garlic Bread And Ginger Pudding by Sara Riaz

Ingredients for Beef Roll:

  • Beef Undercut 1/2 kg
  • Potato 1/2 kg
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Black Pepper 1 tsp
  • Ginger 1/2 tsp
  • Garlic 1/2 tsp
  • Vinegar 2 tbsp

For Chatni:

  • Coriander 1 cup
  • Tamarind Juice 1/2 cup
  • Green Chilli 8-10
  • Mint 20 leaves
  • Garlic 4 cloves
  • Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Open the pieces of beef and spread it. Then coat with salt, black pepper, vinegar & ginger garlic and leave it for 30 minutes.
  2. Remove the skin of potato, boil it and mesh it.
  3. Coat beef with boiled potato on top.
  4. Add all ingredients of chatni and grind it.
  5. Spread thick chatni on potato, roll beef and fry in 2 tbsp oil.
  6. Together add half cup water and simmer it.
  7. When cooked, do slices of roll.
  8. Serve with garlic bread.

Ingredients for Garlic Bread:

  • French Loaf 1 piece
  • Butter 10 gram
  • Garlic 1 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Oregano 1/2 tsp
  • Black Pepper 1/4 tsp

Method:

  1. Beat butter. Now add salt, garlic, oregano & black pepper and mix it.
  2. Cut french loaf into cross and below part of french liaf should be long.
  3. Now spread butter mixture into center. Roll in foil and bake for 10 to 15 minutes on 180 degrees C.

Ingredients for Ginger Pudding:

  • Butter 100 gram
  • Caster Sugar 100 gram
  • Eggs 5
  • Bread Slices 6
  • Baking Powder 2 tsp
  • Ginger Powder 2 tsp
  • Brown Sugar 2 tbsp
  • Golden Syrup 6 tbsp
  • Vanilla Essence 1/2 tsp

For Custard:

  • Milk 250 gram
  • Custard Powder 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Beat egg & caster sugar and add melted butter.
  2. Add baking powder, ginger powder, vanilla essence & bread crumbs. Now add brown sugar and mix all ingredients nicely.
  3. Put mixture in grease tin and bake on 180 degrees C for 15 minutes.
  4. Take out from oven and cut into pieces.
  5. For custard: Put milk, sugar & custard powder in one bowl and make thin custard.
  6. Serve with ginger pudding.
