KHATI FISH

Ingredients for Khati Fish:

  • Rahu Fish  2 kg
  • Tomato  4
  • Garlic  2 tbsp
  • Onion 2
  • Whole red chili  10
  • Kashmiri red chili  1 tbsp
  • Fine Chopped coriander 1 cup
  • Turmeric 1 tbsp
  • Coriander  1 tsp
  • Cumin 1-1/2 tbsp
  • Fenugreek seeds 1-1/2 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds  1-1/2 tbsp
  • Coconut water  4 cup
  • Green chilies  4
  • Black pepper 1 tbsp
  • Oil  for frying
  • Mustard paste  1-1/2 tsp
  • Tamarind pulp  2 cup
  • Ghee 8 tbsp
  • Curry leaves  7 inch
  • Fish  1 kg
  • Ajwayein 1 tsp
  • Egg  2
  • Chaat masala  as required

Method:

  1. First sprinkle salt, garlic on fish for merinating.
  2. Heat the oil and put onions, curry leaves, garlic, red chilies, coriander, cumin, fengreek leaves,
  3. mustard powder for frying.
  4. After that pour coconut water and cool it.
  5. Now add fish pieces and let it cook.
  6. In the end add tamarind pulp, green chilies, green coriander and make baghar.
  7. Heat the ghee and add red chili, cumin, mustard seeds, curry leaves.
  8. Serve the fish with rice, papaar, ajwayein leaves.
