Karahi Keema by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Mince 1/2 kg
  • Onion 1 large
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Tomatoes 4 sliced
  • Chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Roasted and crushed cumin 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Chili garlic sauce 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies chopped 6
  • Ginger julienne 2 tbsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Coriander leaves 4 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil and fry onion until light golden.
  2. Now add ginger garlic paste.
  3. Then put mince with salt, add 1 cup water, cover it and cook until keema is approx ready.
  4. Then put tomatoes sliced with chili powder, cumin, coriander powder, salt, all spice and chili garlic sauce, cover it and cook until mince tender.
  5. In end, put green chilies chopped, ginger julienne and coriander leaves, keep on simmer and serve with naan.
