Eggless Strawberry Ice Cream by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • Gelatin 1 tbsp
  • Cold water 2 tbsp
  • Milk 2 cups
  • Sugar 3/4 cup
  • Salt a pinch
  • Cream 2 cups
  • Vanilla essence 2 tsp
  • Strawberries 2 cups
  • Sugar 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Soften gelatin in cold water.
  2. Scald milk; add gelatin, sugar, and salt.
  3. Stir until dissolved. Cool.
  4. Add cream and vanilla. Freeze.
  5. Once half set, combine 2 cups mashed strawberries with 1/2 cup sugar, add to mixture and stir well and freeze again.
