Rawa Barfi by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Ghee 125 gm
  • Semolina 250 gm
  • Water 1 cup
  • Sugar 250 gm
  • Desiccated coconut 50 gm
  • Cardamom powder 1 tsp
  • Almonds sliced 2 tbsp
  • Pistachios sliced 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat ghee in wok, put semolina and cook on low flame until light pink.
  2. Now remove from stove.
  3. Then heat water, put sugar and make syrup.
  4. Now put hot syrup in semolina and mix it.
  5. Then add coconut and cardamom powder.
  6. Then spread this mixture in greased tray, press on each sides and equal level.
  7. Now sprinkle almonds and pistachios.
  8. Then cut into square pieces and serve.
