Mint Raita by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • Yogurt 3 cups
  • Mint leaves 1 cup
  • Green chili finely chopped 1
  • Roasted cumin seeds powder 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Black salt 1/4 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Make paste of mint leaves using very little water.
  2. Add mint paste and green chili to whipped curd.
  3. Add roasted cumin seeds powder, black pepper, sugar and black salt to it.
  4. Mix it well.
  5. Serve chilled with biryani.
