Palak Daal Gosht by Chef Tahir Chaudhry

Ingredients:

  • Spinach 2 cups
  • Beef 1 cup
  • Chana daal 1 cup
  • Onion 1 small
  • Garlic 2-3 cloves
  • Ginger 1 tbsp
  • Cumin powder 2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 4 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pan, fry onion until soft, put cumin, coriander, red chili and turmeric and fry more for 1 minute.
  2. Then add crush ginger and garlic, put beef, chana daal and 2 cups water, cover it and cook until beef tender.
  3. Now add spinach and salt, mix it nicely, cook for 15-20 minutes on low flame and serve hot.
