Ingredients:

  • Maida or White flour 1/2 kg
  • Ghee 2-3 tbsp
  • Baking soda 1 pinch
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt as required

Method:

  1. Add baking soda, salt and ghee in maida or white flour and knead with water as required.
  2. Then make portions and roll like thin thin pooriyan.
  3. Then heat oil in wok and fry pooriyan.
  4. Pooriyan is ready.

Pooriyan is deep fried dish. It is eaten in Breakfast or as Snack. It is prepared with Maida or Flour & Soda. It is served with Halwa, Aloo Chanay ki Tarkari or Bhaji.
